Seotch, the Korean version uses my edited graphics but gives me no credit for my work as per the Creative Commons attribution. I can’t find a link to contact HazE to fix this issue.
I’d also like to have the sources for these… because we can’t share them or create pdf version of the Spanish version. Although the Spanish version uses your graphics directly, so no problem with credit with this one.

Hi! I just checked out Vulpes’ Korean Translation and love it! ^^
It’s based off the original source files (and thus is an RtL work), and clearly shows some very clean and careful editing work. Already linked to it on my site,…. ^_____^

doctormo : I used the original source for my translation… So yes, it’s RtL. While the norm for Korea is to read things from left to right, people are already used to the Japanese format for comic books (which actually is kinda sad…), so I figured that it wasn’t necessary to go LtR… Not to mention that it’s a personal preference for me, as well. ^^
C-quel: Glad you liked it! Although I have GOT to find a way to improve my handwriting ^^
BTW – I love your insert! I wish I had time to add my own illustration in. ^^ Maybe for Ep. 2 (hehe)

Did it because a friend of mine (hopefully not Anonymous in disguise? haha!

And he’s the kind of person who would take forever to download and install an alternative product, so I just went ahead and put up the individual PNG files for him (and others in his predicament).

I dunno if the links are correct or not since I am unable to even pinging 4 shared on this machine of mine. I am gprs user after all. no 3g, no hsdpa. XD
anyway, I am a very stupid reading at those slashing-japanese-character-font but I want to include a chara pages from http://www.aerialline.com/comics/ubunchu , but there, from what my stupid brain encode those slashs, Akane is doing_something on the Akihabara regional police station.
What? Is she doing something? Stealing netbook? Force people to use slackware there?
And because of that, I just use a few words on character page in the translation. I am really clueless.
And after reading http://seotch.deviantart.com/journal/16232989/ , oh, it is another comic!

@ BlackClaw
It says “She might have an older cousin working in Akihabara police station” – which is probably in reference to a character in Seotch’s manga, Akihabara Police Station. I haven’t been able to find a copy to read yet, so I don’t know exactly what he’s talking about there… LOL

Thank you, Seotch-san, for updating the links! I’m also very excited by how quickly your work has been translated in all these different languages! ^^

Thank you for letting me know the new translations & files.
I’ve updated the links above to add French, Italian, Indonesian and Portuguese (Brazilian) editions on the list.
There may be other language editions. Let me know if you find or translated to any other.
As for Akane’s relationship with Akihabara Police Station.
Yes, certainly she has tried to force her friends to use slackware, but the scheme has never succeeded and still not been exposed to the police. So, she is safe so far!
Haha,Just kidding.
Yes, Vulpes is right. It has to do with my former manga series “Akibasho!” (meaning Akihabara Police Station). Amane Kuon, the heroine of the manga, is cyber crime investigator working in Akibasho. And she is a cousin of Akane.
Amane & Kazuya
http://www.aerialline.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/e38387e383ace38182e381bee381ad.jpg
But it’s just a story behind the story and will not affect to “Ubunchu!”. So don’t care too much about it!

Hello Seotch-san. ^^
It’s wonderful news to hear how far along you’ve gotten with the manga. ^___^
Just to let you know, I’ve also created a second Ubunchu fanart piece over at my Deviantart account. That one is for a very specialized purpose for one of Doc’s blog articles and is very simple — in fact, it originally was not meant to have Ubunchu characters. But I figured it would be nice to start showing your characters in other Ubuntu-related things, to help iconify them.
My next piece will be a true wallpaper featuring Akane-san and Risa-chan, and I hope that one will come up beautifully. ^^
….
Ah, and thought I should point out that both Russian versions are RtL’s. We RtL fans are everywhere it seems. ^.^

Seotch-san has his original source files in Photoshop format — however, that doesn’t necessarily mean he used that for all the processing work. Some of the drawings are unmistakeably hand-drawn, either on paper and scanned, or direct to screen.
I used Inkscape for my own Instructional Insert pages, and the English translations were all processed in a combination of Inkscape and GIMP (which can work with the PSD format), depending on where vector or raster edits were most appropriate
Bottom line, as long as you have the patience and the creativity, you can basically use a wide variety of tools (not necessarily ones that require excessive amounts of money) to create Anime-style artwork as long as you adhere to the general principles of their design. Eons ago I purchased a copy of Photoshop 6.0 in the hopes that that would magically make me into an accomplished Anime artist — but without the right mindset, I eventually ended up with a $500 USD Red Eye remover.

Throughout the awesome pattern of things you get a B- for effort and hard work.
Where exactly you lost me personally ended up being on your
specifics. You know, as
the maxim goes, details make or break the argument.
. And it couldn’t be
much more accurate at this point. Having said that,
permit me say to you exactly what
did do the job. Your text
is pretty
powerful and this is most likely the reason why
I am taking the effort in order to comment. I do not really make it a regular habit of
doing that. Secondly, whilst I can
certainly notice the leaps in reason you make, I am not certain of how you seem to
connect your details which help to make
the final result. For now I shall
yield to your position but hope in the near future
you actually link your dots much better.

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this site. It’s
simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and appearance. I must say that you’ve done a superb job
with this. In addition, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Firefox.
Superb Blog!
